Prospect Spotlight- QB Anthony Savoy

Savoy came from a small town, Seymour Wisconsin.  He didn't play Quarterback until his Senior year of high school and when he brought them to a State Championship victory, he received an offer from his dream school.  Upon getting to college, Savoy quickly realized that his raw talent wasn't enough to get him by as a starting Quarterback for a power 5 school.

After struggles of jumping between starting time and dropping all the way to a third string player, Savoy spent the off season between his Sophomore and Junior year buying into the team mentality.  With that he followed through with an early promise that he would bring an National Championship to the Wisconsin Badgers.

Finishing the National Championship Game going 86 yards on 5 - 8 passing and 112 yards rushing was not what Savoy had in mind as he now dreamed of playing professional football.  He had to showcase his talents with a school that would allow him to play the way that he wanted to play.

Despite a loyalty to the Badgers, Savoy entered the transfer protocol and left for Florida State.  (Not following in Hornibrook's footsteps because he actually won a Natty at Wisconsin and then left)

At Florida State Savoy had 1 year to prove who he was and boy did he ever.  He brought the Seminoles to an undefeated season, a Conference title, received a Heisman Trophy and Dominated Auburn finishing with 391 yards through the air on 28 - 30, 6 passing touchdowns, 94 yards on the ground and 1 rushing touchdown in a 49 - 21 torching to win the National Championship.

Now with two National Championships with two different teams, Savoy looks to start the next challenging chapter in his life as he has declared for the RFL draft...  To be continued...
